(C.R.) - Jan 6th 2000 AspMail is used on more ASP installations than any other commercial or free product. Used on 1000's of Web sites around the world, this component allows you to send SMTP mail directly from a Web page. Versions 2.5x and > are 2-3 times faster than previous versions and have very low CPU utilization. AspMail includes support for SMTP (sending) Messages Multiple File Attachments supporting MIME and UUencoding PGP US ASCII and ISO-8859-1 character sets Priority, Urgent and Custom mail headers MS Mail (including Exchange) priority headers Reply-To, ConfirmReading and ReturnReceipt headers Custom ContentType headers Word Wrap (customizable) Redundant SMTP servers Multiple concurrent users Compatible with: Win9x, WinNT 4 & Win2K Performance AspMail has been tested on WinNT Server, WinNT Workstation & Win95, single and dual processor servers with up to 80 simultaneous requests to send email. While there are a large number of factors that can determine performance AspMail has been tested with the following results. Results will vary based on system configurations. Non-Queuing: average messages per hour: 10800 (only using 12 threads) Queuing (AspQMail): average messages per hour: 38880 (only using 12 threads) *Single processor Pentium 200 under IIS; up to 40 concurrent messages Who's Using AspMail?
